Hi Sam, I know that my sole intention was to use humour to point out how silly the entire discussion was. I expect kickycan had similar motivations. I can't speak for Individual, I don't know them that well. I highly doubt that any offence was intended by any member. Heck, I do have faith that most of us know the difference between kidding around and a serious insult. It is a fact, however, that the nature of the 'net can blur those fine lines sometimes. I just hope we can all get along, even when we go a bit overboard with jokes. Incidentally, all I find attractive in a woman is what my wife posesses, wholly. Wink

Wait a minute here? Where have I been? Wiyaka is a transsexual? How did I miss that? Seriously, I missed that bit of info somewhere along the line.
Well, cool then.

Thank you gentlemen, most sincerely, from the bottom of my heart. You all had me a bit worried there for a while. My heart said they are just kidding. My head, well, was a different story.
Hugs to you all. The longer I hang around a2k the better I will get at picking up on the kidding. Until then, I will probably ask.

I wonder if Individual will respond and what the response will be.

Oh! I do like to kid, tease and joke; laughter is good for everyone.

BPB,

Yup, My lady started life as male. Very Happy Wiyaka is the sweetest lady and the dearest gentleman I have ever met. No one in the GLBT community has ever managed to "pigeon hole" us. We are the oddest couple.

Thank you all for finding my post important enough to respond to.

Honestly, bear! How DID you miss that?!

(And yes, it's cool. I wondered about that remark of Individual's, too.)

Sam...don't let the adolescent humor get to you. It's just the classic "ooh, yuk, girls!" insecure male reaction, you know. Most of the men on A2K are much more evolved than that. But they still lapse into those jokes from time to time, the poor darlings. They can't help themselves. If they weren't so damn cute..... Very Happy

All I know is that I just sent a pumpernickel bread recipe to Wiyaka, and she seemed quite pleased. By breaking bread, we make peace, and 'dining at table' can have multiple meanings.

BPB,

You didn't know Surprised Laughing That's right sweets, I'm a pre-op and have been for over 4 1/2 years.

The picture used as an avatar, showing a paratrooper in training is me, at age 18. It was taken way back in 1967, just a few months before I headed to Vietnam. For a bit more info on my military training and experiences, you may wish to check my thread on "Military experts that have never been in combat". It might even surprise you more.

I came out in 1999, at the age of 49. Damn! I think I better revise my profile just a "little". I've given this information out so many times on A2k, I do it from rote now. <HEAVY graooooooooooon Rolling Eyes >

Eva,

Now that I'm on-track with, giving free rein to the inner little boy, it' jake with me. Ala Dr. Who, what is the use of being an adult if you cant be childish on occasion. Yes indeed cute and rumpled in the morning, stubbly faced, blinking owlishly and scratching their Shocked Embarrassed ... never mind. You gotta love em.
For the most part I find a2k members to intelligent and charming people. They are, as you said, more evolved than the average. In short, a thoroughly delightful lot

This is indeed a very educational thread.

I, too, just figured out that Wiyaka is transsexual. And Sam and Wiyaka are definitely a cool couple.

I'm not too keen on the girl in the pic. I thought I was a latently bisexual female, but perhaps not. On the other hand, I don't like over-developed muscle bound guys either. So where does that leave me?

Oh, that's right, I'm a plant. Probably monoecious.

Craven,

Honey, I've experienced both sides of the coin and the edge!

Cav,

A loaf of bread, a bottle of wine (non-alcoholic, since I don't drink alcohol)and thou. We'll let Sam and Mrs Cav get to know each other as well. Laughing

Well you learn something new every day. It's all good IMO.

I love big knockers though, childish, Americanized shallow male or not........but I have to agree with Craven that a great ass is THE most important thing.

Physically of course, and we all know that's not really important.

I have spent years in the entertainment field wishing I could meet a girl who respected me for my mind and rapier like wit instead of just my great ass......sigh.....it's a heavy cross to bear...

Nah, not disparaging anybody, Craven. I have a 10-year-old son around the house all day now that it's summer. So I hear this constantly. Ten-year old girls are light-years ahead of the boys in physical development, and naturally, he is quite intimidated. Eventually the boys catch up, but some of them never outgrow the intimidation/insecurity.

Yuk! A girl!

But seriously, insecure people like to write off behavior of others as insecurity, what you say is in many cases true, but lots of male bashing comes from female insecurity about their inherent inferiority and evil nature.

I do hope you get the several layers of irony in that.
