They are German nuttock chafers, Around about 1450 - 1500, early Renaissance.

And what do you think about that banana-like "trademark"?
I suppose, it's an early condom - less a trademark but a sign for the purpose: it's a condom box. (Those could be found quite frequently in rural grocer shops during the Middle Ages.)

It was embarrassing for monks to head into grocery stores in the Middle Ages, looking for condoms. The squires would all yell, "Price Check!"
