Happy New Year! Enjoying the latest quiz but now getting numb searching for breakthroughs on questions 29 {If George = 3; David = 17; Rufus = 31 - then who is 45?} & 34 {re French composers marrying on same day October 45 years apart}? Any hints/clues will be appreciated & I am happy to trade in return.

@Ramires7,
I've got 29, in the same context 1 would be Charles. Could do with a hint for 16.

@djmple,
Question 29 is trappy because the list is different depending on which source you take it from. Clarification needed on query line!

@djmple,
N0. 16, the Bond question: sorry, that's another one I'm wrestling with, although I can only find one actor 'twice' a baddie, one it seems, three times?

@syzygy,
You are quite right at least 4 different names. I am using the official website of the British Monarchy as of July 2013!

@sophocles,
In that case it would seem we have the same answer at this moment in time...let's hope Bill makes our task a little clearer.

@gumpy01,
42: Born FARM BUTTONS {anagram} in 1920's. A hint re 41 or even 34 would be appreciated.

No. 16, the 'Bond' question. Is it really this hard? I have googled/researched numerous villians, Henchmen, 'girls' for hours without a breakthrough! Anyone got anywhere with this? A hint/nudge would be gratefully received. I can hint in return on most others.

@Ramires7,
I have a possible answer to this one; the 'Bond Girl' wasn't the most obvious one in the film concerned. Wiki has a good list. I'm having trouble with #50: I usually enjoy these but am getting nowhere. I have possible candidates for the mythological dwarf, but would appreciate a hint for the 1920s novels or the fictional character.

@gardengnome,
Sorry, appreciated, but given the amount of googling I've done, including perusing various Wiki lists, the hint so far isn't moving me on at all - era/genre?
Novels - think action hero, 20' & 30's, MELENCI {anagram}.

@Ramires7,
Sorry, Ramires7, was your clue for one or two parts to #50?

@gardengnome,
Middle part of question. // 3rd part , character played by 'Markville'. Cheers!

@Ramires7,
I should have said, if I've got the right answer you were on the right track with henchmen. It then involved more lists in imdb.

just listened to QL and Bill says he will, within reason, accept more than one answer to Q 29.
