I'm one of those retards who don't know what "info-mercial" means and I also advise people of a nervous disposition to ignore me.
Very sorry, Spendi-. It's possibly an American thing or at least the 'word' (short for: Information Commercial, I guess). It's usually a half hour touting some book, product or whatever, made to look like a legitimate tv show sometimes. It's really just a (way too lengthy) commercial!
