About to actually make some dinner, JAAF! (lol) I CAN cook when I'm hungry. Want some chicken?
Better than nothing! Plus, it has been three days since the last time I've eaten some chicken. I'm starving!
Can I help?! Okay, I'll try to pm you some, you poor starving thing!
Damn, I guess I missed dinner.
2:47am and sinking deeper into yet another night of insomnia....
feeling as frustrated as ladyj - if I don't get some sleep I'm going to go nuts!
(Hope you slept, ladyj!)
I'm happy you're happy, Clary!
Just about to watch some TV.
Kindly telling the children to mind their pet-sitting duties at the neighbors.
(What's on the telly, Clary?)
Lost 40$ in pocker.Won 125$ in Blackjack.Last night.
My luck is never as good as yours, Amigo!
Only watching a documentary on the Voynich Manuscript, Dev!
Pretty interesting, Clary?
It was on last night as well.A load of cobblers. One of those programmes designed to make viewers feel like they are intelligent.
Quoting: (note to Spendi-, in alphabetical order) "A load of cobblers". Is that a British saying and what does it mean exactly?
(Don't you feel at least a little intelligent when you learn something you didn't know before, or are you are born genius, Mr. Spendi-?)
Replying to your question I might say that yes I am a born genius as I understand the word.I dare say I learn lots of things all the time.As it happens I had tried to explain to two stubborn viewers of that documentary that all programmes are adverts for something or other.Have you not noticed that all these code things have a strange sounding name. They are products and like all products they flatter potential customers. In the case in question they are trying to make the viewer think that s/he is a serious intellectual whereas I am a goofball and there's not enough of us thanks to idiotic, going nowhere programmes like that.
