when a user searches does it search your forum first or bring results from your forum first?

Nope, it's intened to be the best research toolbar online so it defaults to teh best search engines (e.g. default is google, then there's Yahoo, MSN...).

There's a forum search option but that's buried.

Buried as in it's listed under a drop down called forums together with google and yahoo group searches.

I'm not sure what you mean with your second question, the toolbar does search these forums if that's what you mean.
