Put the .htacess rules in the directory with the forum files. If there is no htaccess file create one.
ok Ive got all this done now... Like you said on local server no mod_rewrite shows. Otherwise all seems to work fine. I will let you know how it goes with the online testing tomorrow! Thanks again.
