Please Help To Identify Unknown Stone.

I've brought it to a few different gemologist and geologist and have gotten a different answer each time. I believe its origins are Southern to the U.S. based on the engraved Aztec or Mayan God that is on the stone. Both geologist said it appears to be old, but couldn't give a time period without testing it. One gemologist said it was raw Jade from South America and the other said its just a carved rock. I have no idea! Any help is greatly appreciated.

Does the external glossy coating scrape off at all?

It looks to me like a carved rock with some type of coating on it.

I actually wet it down. That's no glaze. I found it tho. It's a Mayan effigy on Mexican Jade
