CLIENT COMPUTERS CANNOT PING EACH OTHER ON LAN DOMAIN

i RUN A NETWORK WITH A DOMAIN. IT HAS I DC AND ABOUT 7 CLIENTS. THE CLIENTS CANNOT PING EACH OTHER AND THE SERVER CANNOT PING THE CLIENTS. EVERY CLIENTS CAN PING JUST THE SERVER. THIS SEEMS STRANGE BECAUSE EVERY PC CONNECTS TO THE NET VIA THE LAN WITH INTERNET CONNECTION SHARING. Sad Sad

THERE ARE MANY THINGS THAT LOOK STRANGE IMO Shocked Shocked Shocked

well..what about checking the netmasks?

If you have a router, did you check it?
If you want to ping internal PCs/network devices then you would need your router to forward packets to the system you want to ping.

AM JUST ABOUT TO INSTALL THE CISCO 837 ROUTER FOR ALL USERS INTERNET CONNECTION THROUGH MY SWITCH, SHOULD ALL USERS HAVE A DYNAMICALLY ASSIGNED IP ADDRESS OR STATIC ONE AT THE MOMENT ALL MACHINES ARE STATIC, AM TOLD THIS WILL SORT PINGING PROBLEM.
