Can you name some things in your food that you're NOT supposed to eat?

Parsley/cilantro garnish... People don't seem to agree on this one. My mother always ate them when they were served on a plate in a restaurant, but others have told me that they avoid them because they are often not washed when used as a garnish, since chefs want it to be fresh but dry when used just for visual appeal.

The red wax on the outside on a ball of Edam is not very paletable!

@Banana Breath,
This lovely dish is properly prepared Chongqing Chicken. Yes, it's spicy with all those chili peppers, but oddly enough, you're not supposed to eat the chili peppers. They're edible, but not many people could eat more than about half of one.

Pilau rice, essential accompaniment for a ruby. You only eat the rice, not cinnamon bark, pepper corns, cloves, cardamoms or any other additives.
