@George,
Love The Things We Did Last Summer by Shelly, Latin George.

I'll bet you or some of our listeners can help with this interpretation, but
first, a brief description:

Blame has remained a controversial issue, being apportioned variously among Raglan himself, the Earl of Lucan, who commanded the cavalry, the Earl of Cardigan, in charge of the Light Brigade, and Captain Louis Nolan who brought the order from Raglan to the cavalry.

Now, the music:

@Letty,
I have far too little knowledge of the event to even think about who was to
blame. It seems a lot of lives were thrown away for nothing, but that's
nothing new in war.

@George,
You're right, of course Latin George, and as I have noted, everything must be
interpreted in the light of the setting event. Who's Been Sleeping in my bed
was a great one.

Here's a great one by Apache. Smile

@Letty,
"Apache" is one of my favorite guitar instrumentals.
I still remember having the 45 RPM back in high school.

"Helplessly Hoping" would be a good aid to teaching alliteration.

Helplessly hoping her harlequin hovers nearby
Awaiting a word
Gasping at glimpses of gentle true spirit he runs
Wishing he could fly
Only to trip at the sound of goodbye

Wordlessly watching he waits by the window and wonders
At the empty place inside
Heartlessly helping himself to her bad dreams he worries
Did he hear a good-bye?
Or even hello?

They are one person
They are two alone
They are three together
They are for each other

Stand by the stairway you'll see something certain to tell you
Confusion has its cost
Love isn't lying it's loose in a lady who lingers
Saying she is lost
And choking on hello

They are one person
They are two alone
They are three together
They are for each other

Latin George, You never cease to amaze me. I have not thought about alliteration in years and you just touched a memory as well. Lord Ragland is
my ancestor and I have been doing a lot of investigation concerning him.

Here's another version of "little Miss dynamite" (I think that was her given name.)

When she did He Ain't heavy; he's my brother: I sang that one
on stage to my late husband when he was over-weigh and he really laughed.

"he ain't my brother; he's my husband "heavy." Smile

Wow: Cher is still with us, and we'll never know about the death of Sonny. Sad

Here's another song that reminds me of my friend, Brucie. He played it on a grand piano.

Back later as I hope more of my friends shall be.

A guy walks into a doctor's office and says, "Doc, I can't stop singing the 'Green, Green Grass of Home.'"

The doctor hears this, thinks for a moment, then says, "Sounds like you have Tom Jones Syndrome."

"Is it common?"

"Well, it's not unusual."

Latin George, your comments are always fantastic, dear friend, and that way of doing Tom Jones' It's Not Unusual was fantastic.

Saying good afternoon now with fond memories:

"Gurda" you will live on through your lovely daughter and she will
Remember Anthony.

McTag also was great to explain about Robert Lewis Stephenson's poem:
It was inspired by a man who wrote a book. Sorry I lost his name, Scotland.

From Letty with love to all of her friends here.

@George,
Latin George, Glad that we're not Baptists. Love Leo's high pitched voice.

Remembering my son today as it's his birthday, and I recall trying to get
him to dance with me, and it made him shy.

Along with my son, I remember Rockhead Jon.

Hurry back, my long time friend, you always inspire me here.

I also miss my friend, Roger, but he doesn't like for me to ask him
to play stuff here.

I love this one by "the boss", and one line from the song
reminded me of "..don't be like the cur in the story; don't
bite the hand that's feeding you.." Smile
