@Letty,

Here's one I heard in the car this week.
A man with just too much voice: and a blast from the past

I hope y'all enjoy it.

Francis Cabrel - C'est écrit
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eqag8zoAym4

Here's a song heard quite a lot here recently.
This version has a ripping guitar solo.

@McTag,

Well the original record (1970s) had a great gutar solo in.
Now they seem to have taken it out.
Maybe it was a dispute over payment. That was the best guitar solo ever.
Probably the only one in a hymn, too!

Good morning from a sunny and pleasant radio station here in Florida.

McTag, I love There's a Time for us as well as the hymn Abide With Me.

Latin George Moon A Tic was delightful.

Olivia 5 as you know, some things don't need to be translated. Loved that one
by Francis Cabrel.

Two songs and a poem for our radio station here.

First, the poem

Now Stevie that says it right for me. Smile

Today is this lady's birthday and I think we all know it was a one hit wonder.

When I was in high school we were required to make book reports, and this reminds me of it:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v8zYmzq94MQ

One thing they left out was Atticus having sent Jim to watch over the old
lady who was weaning herself off morphine.

she said: I don't want to be beholden to nobody.

In spite of it all, I think edgar is still my friend.

Thinking back in happier times again, my late husband played the bass with a jazz band, and since it's almost one o clock here, let's jump

the mind does have an eye, and in it I am picturing my friend Bob (rip) standing on stage and saying:

We are NOT a bird band.

Here are two great ones.

First, The Ames Brothers:

Now, The Kingston Trio:

Good afternoon. We had a tornado on my street yesterday. I told all about it on my I Think thread, which no longer gets many responses from a2kers. It missed my house, but a neighbor got killed. We had no electric until early this morning.

@edgarblythe,
ah, My long time friend so glad to see you back with us. Horrible about that Tornado, edgar. Somehow your song by Chuck, reminded me of "the boss"

I recall my having said to you: cogito ergo sum. I think therefore I am, and that you should never stop thinking.

here's the boss

@edgarblythe,
What a surprise, Mr. Creator. I had no idea that the man in black did that one
by Glenn. Both of them will live on through their music.

Saying good afternoon a bit early as I am having a few problems here.

Poor Marilyn.

Love to everyone everywhere.

So great to have our creator back with us.
