Saying good afternoon now.

First, More Roses:

We have discussed the fact that Buddy Holly was the only one to wear glasses
when he worked, and then I mentioned that this was the first blind guy NOT to wear glasses:

Wonderful having England and Scotland with us and Texas, of course.

From Letty with love to everyone here. (including me. Smile)

Good evening WA2K and welcome to the Graveyard Shift.

Did you know that Le Pain Perdu is French for "French Toast"?

Good morning, from our Florida radio station.

Latin George, hurry back, you played some wonderful songs during the night.

Incidentally, I love French toast and that Elephant Danse was fantastic as well as Feloche's We Live. As you know, dear friend, I love stringed instruments.

Ah, I missed edgar's comment on Marty, and had no idea that Judy did Amazing Grace. I thought only bag pipes played it. Smile

Two songs for this morning. I will always love James Taylor, y'all.

My favorite aria, letty, and one of the few I pay much attention to.

Judy's record of Amazing Grace was a hit they played lots on the radio.

@edgarblythe,
Mark, I love Al's The Year of the Cat.

Our poem for today:

(Ogden Nash)

You get a wife, you get a house,
Eventually you get a mouse.
You get some words regarding mice,
You get a kitty in a trice.

By two a.m. or thereabouts,
The mouse is in, the cat is out.
It dawns upon you, in your cot,
The mouse is silent, the cat is not.

Instead of kitty, says your spouse,
You should have got another mouse.

Now, two versions of the same song:

Frankly, I like Perry's better:

@edgarblythe,
Thanks again for your comment, dear friend, and I love Bob Dylan doing Gates of Enden.

Going to say good afternoon now as I have a million things to do.

First, one to match Bob's. Don't know these guys but they are good:

Good morning from a very sunny day here in our Florida radio station.

Hurry back Latin George. Love both of those Santana songs.

edgar, Kansas City was the last song that I sang here. Now, the place where I
sang it is gone. Sad

ehBeth, Welcome back and hurry back. Loved What Is the Soul of Man by that gal.

Well, y'all, heard from Roger, Phoenix, and Ursula. They are the only three that I hear from at the Cocoa gathering.

Here are a couple of great songs for today. Will play more later.

First, The Lettermen:
