Good evening WA2K, and welcome to the Graveyard Shift.
Tonight I'd like to play some interesting African music I've heard lately.

@edgarblythe,
Good morning, from a sunny day here in our Florida radio station.

Mark, I loved Neil's Laughter in the rain. Thanks, Mr. creator.

Three songs for the morning here. First, a birthday man:

Happy birthday to Woody. It certainly never rains in so Cal these days. Lee Hazlewood was a good songwriter/performer.

@edgarblythe,
Thanks for your comments, Mark. Didn't know I Go Crazy When I look in Your Eyes by Paul. It was great, dear friend.l

One of the reasons that I didn't sleep well is because I had a day dream of going from one white room to another white room, etc.

What a shock to find this one.

I never heard that one before. Sad

@edgarblythe,
Mark, Loved Cream doing White Room. I feel so much better now.

Here's a birthday guy, but first some info:

Jamey Johnson (born July 14, 1975) is an American country music artist. Signed to BNA Records in 2005, Johnson made his debut with his single "The Dollar", the title track to his 2006 album The Dollar.

Here's a great one by him:

@edgarblythe,
I didn't know him either, Mark, but he was a good country singer.

Love Kenny Rogers doing Through the Years. I remember him for doing a song named Lady.

Here's another great performer:

Good evening WA2K, and welcomed to the Graveyard Shift.

You heard Letty continue the Africa theme with Toto's "Africa". Edgarblythe
then picked up the Rain in Africa" and ran with "Laughter in the Rain". Good
segue.
