Ah, Izz with a y. That was a great song by The Cure, and many of us may need being cured with love.

Thinking of my long time friend McTag. I sent that lovely song by Robert Burns to him and still think of A Red, Red Rose.

Apologies to my British friends because I froze their forum when I played a song to Georgeob 1 there.

Remember this poem now, and Latin George's lovely bride found it for Georgeob1:

"The Night Has A Thousand Eyes"

by Francis William Bourdillon

The night has a thousand eyes,
And the day but one;
Yet the light of the bright world dies
With the dying of the sun.

The mind has a thousand eyes,
And the heart but one;
Yet the light of a whole life dies
When love is done.

Now, another lovely vocalist taught to me by my Canadian friend:

Great golden oldie, edgar, and thanks for your comments and personal acknowledgement.

Is this true?

More people made money mining miners, than miners made mining gold:

Levi Strauss.

Here's another miner:

Good evening WA2K and welcome to the Graveyard Shift.

We've lost a friend. Merry Andrew is gone. Here are a couple of songs to accompany him on his way,

Good morning from a very sunny Saturday here in our Florida radio station.

Latin George, I am distressed about Merry Andrew. Hope that Seaglass will let us know something.

My favorite song of yours Was I Can See Clearly Now by that Johnny.

I'm with you, dear friend. Play no sad songs for me. We all need to celebrate the LIFE of those who have left us.

Two songs for this morning here. First, a birthday man:

Yul Brenner who made me think of the Bangles.

Now, The Bangles:

Thanks for your comment and personal acknowledgement, Mark. So many people have done that one, but I never heard it by "the jester". Bill Robinson will live forever through that song.

Here's a group that I can't find any information on, but I like it!

@edgarblythe,
Thanks for the explanation of Little Texas, Mark.

What a surprise to find "the King" doing Margerita. He was great.

Having a few problems here so I'm going to say good afternoon now with two
songs by Marty. (ah, dear Dorothy)

@Letty,
I just happened to see Tony Bennet and Lady Gaga singing on the TV last night. What incredible musicians, both of them.
