<yes, and on top of it, I mix three threads up. Mostly it is fun, but I have observed that the one with the full sentence option has the best chance, although let me guess, it will never come to pass, of being a coherent story.
One word at a time has not a chance of a snowball in hell, etc. of being a coherent story but amuses me to see all my wildly verbal a2k friends circumscribed to say one minute word, such as, is, or if, or, 'or'.
The constraint has a certain oomph factor, which could be used in real life composition.
The three word thing is more engaging, but also frustrating, since of course one can't finish any lousy sentence, and cannot trigger any sensible response from the next poster, certainly not me, who is off riffing on her own brainwave.
What is the point? I don't know about for the rest of you, but I like the byplay, and I like the near-accidental nifty posts.>
I like the way that one word story kind of meanders along and slowly changes into another story, and then every once in a while you get something cohesive going for almost a page--that's cool.
And the three word story is fun because I like setting up the next person for a funny or interesting or just wacky post. That one has a lot of good goofy stuff. Plus I like trying to lead it into something dirty.
And I really like that one-sentence thread. That one you can really get creative with.
I think they're all fun little distractions.

<I, and I am not the only one, delight in keeping you from arriving at the dirtiest possible next post, by the tiniest hair, or even worse, a big pair of pantaloons. I have not the slightest doubt that you have noticed this. Surely your pleasure is increased, Shirley.>
(Hee hee, yes I do love seeing what you guys come up with. I loved that pantaloons post.
