Miss Australia Jennifer Hawkins was named Miss Universe 2004 in a two-hour pageant in the Ecuador capital of Quito, watched by millions of television viewers around the world.
She said the close family, including Miss Hawkins' two older brothers and a sister, were going to miss her when she took up her duties as Miss Universe in the United States.
I'm looking for A2Kers ideas about what might constitute the 'duties of Miss Universe' (former Miss Universes and Slappy are excused from this exercise).

Making nice pictures with starving children in Africa, and after that going home to your big mansion in Australia to complain about the weather...(although that isn't really necessary in Australia)
