OK, Walter, but this is the translation I found in our own computer dictionary:
uitdragen (overgankelijk werkwoord)
1 naar buiten dragen
carry out
context
(figuurlijk) een huis uitdragen
auction the inventory of a house
een lijk / een dode uitdragen
carry a corpse / a dead person out to burial
2 verbreiden
propagate
spread, disseminate
Well, 'Konflikt austragen' is German ....
I've just read the article.
I doubt some facts a bit, e.g. "Der Kongregation untersteht ein Heer von 85 000 Priestern und 450 000 Ordensleuten." - this would mean that about half of all members of Catholic fraternities worldwide wouldn't be members of an order but of that congregation.
(Besides that I don't trust the 'WamS' at all  - I "serious Sunday tabloid")
Ischt schoan recht, Herr Amerikaner
