Why is my computer so slow to run printers?

Why is my computer so slow to run printers when i need to print.

@WENDTY,
It could be because the printer is "going to sleep" when you are not using it regularly. When you start printing, the printer has to wake up first. If you print three documents in rapid succession, is it slow for each document or just slow to start on the first one?
