Your perspective is skewed. Iraq invaded Kuwait in 1990. The United States did not start a war with Iraq--they came to the aid of an ally. Many nations with Arab populations also joined in the war against Iraq. It's hardly worth discussing with you if you start from a polemical position.

I believe that the petrodollar issue is a factor in the U.S.'s invasions of Middle East countries.
