When we make statements like 'murder is bad' or 'giving to charity is good', what do we mean from a philosophical perspective when we use ethical terms in a statement? What is it that we are actually doing in relation to other people when we make these statements?
@PhilipOSopher,
When did you last hear those statements actually being made ?
If the answer is "only in the context of a philosophy discussion", it tells you something about Wittgenstein's view of "philosophy" as being concerned with "language on holiday".
