Quote:Foxes have been found to cost the environment and economy $227.5 million a year. The next biggest problem is feral cats ($146 million), followed by rabbits, pigs, wild dogs, mice, carp, goats, cane toads, feral horses and camels.
The centre's chief executive, Tony Peacock, said one bright spot in Australia's feral pest war was the decline of the rabbit.
Anthrax Deathshead Flesh-Eating Rabbits
Apparently the roos must all be exterminated.

I just knew carp were going to make that list.
I have a couple rogue carp hanging around my swamp and they're always causing trouble.
Roos are native.
Therefore by definition neither feral, nor exotic.
They CAN be pests, though, bless em.
We are NOT letting you have one!!!
It's okay gustav. I have a 'contact'.
I'll see what I can do. Black market roo is a little gamier than regular roo, but still makes a fine chili.
What? Pigs are only number four on your list? And behind rabbits? We're just going to have to try harder.
it's hard to find good 'swill' these days; except 'here' of course, pages full of it!
Just look at all the joy those bunnies have given us!
Some of the others, wellll......
Have a bit of treat kibble Margo - on me!
as the bunny says, hmmmmmmmmmmm
Victorians have been officially warned to expect a mouse epidemic. Soon.
What's the damn problem? Feral pigs, cane-toads, wild-dogs and foaming-at-the-mouth camels not GOOD ENOUGH for you mob?
Try that up in the Top End. "Yes, I know a raving horde of 6 metre salties have eaten half the population of the North lately, but back in Melbourne we HAD a plague of mice!".
Mr Stillwater
We haven't had the mouse plague YET ... We've been warned that we're going to have one! Apparently they destroy & plunder with abandon!
