Interesting that they think that one of the "long-limbed crocodile" body forms that tended to dominate the middle to late Triassic was ancestral to crocodiles, while the animals that actually looked similar to crocodiles back then were only a distant relative. I would have guessed the reverse.
Stuff that ruled before the dinosaurs is kind of cool. If you go back even farther in time, the reptiles were all small and the proto-mammals were dominant.
