How to write an analysis paper on a short documentary film

Trying to write a paper for a documentary film for sociology. I'm choosing to use the symbolic interactionist perspective what should I focus on when using this perspective or do you think that conflict perspective or functionalism perspective would be easier to focus on I'm really confused right now. I have to analyze a film but not sure exactly what to write about when using one of these sociology perspectives
