Rome is where the heart is.
End of Days (for some reason, I felt the need to post a link):
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0146675/
(O no. That looks like a stinker, Cav. Was it?)
This all reminds me of a little known little (and uncharacteristic) gem by Philip Larkin:
What are days for?
Days are where we live.
They come, they wake us
Time and time over.
They are to be happy in:
Where can we live but days?
Ah, solving that question
Brings the priest and the doctor
In their long coats
Running over the fields.
(The movie was horrible. I just thought I'd pop in the link since Arnie is so high profile these days, and defending Satan, rather than fighting him)
That countries are voting their ministers out because they're just related to Bush tells you something... I'm meant to be appearing on a radio show at the end of the week about the (lack of) comparison between Churchill and Bush (apart from the fact that they both employed bullying tactics at times.)
I don't think that I have ever seen a decent Schwarzenneger movie. It seems as if they were made by a bad, 1994 Japanese to English dictionary, whose contents were selected at random by one of those old Acorn computers.
(I must admit to enjoying Total Recall)
Large fries
(I have never seen that one... nor do I intend to. His 'humour' films slay me with their non-humour... slay in the bad sense of the word, not the good.)
That movie sucked, I'll be back, as president next time.
