I don t claim to be much of an ichthyologist, and even less of a TMJ expert,
and I acknowledge that when men start singing, on rare occasions
dogs really DO start howling along (an atavistic throwback to their ancestors),
. . . but when the guys start rhythmically pounding their wooden table
while thay sing: "Show Me The Way To Go Home" I have my doubts
concerning the musical behavior of a certain shark wanting to join in
the festivities by his pounding on the hull of their wooden boat,
. . . but I remain too lazy to put that to the test.
Maybe some of u younger members of A2K can empirically test that
and let us know how it turns out . . . . ?
In my youth I have indulged in the combined pursuits of drinking, singing
and pounding. I can attest that I had sometimes received pounding in return.
@George,
Yea, but did u invite a shark
to join u ?
What r the chances
that a shark will choose to join in harmonic, sympathetic drumming ?

Pretty good, if you're a Jet.
Now if Spielberg had given us
had given us a tale of wolves howling along
with the stars of the movie, I cud understand that,
but tympanic harmony from a fish?? (I don t mean to be racist.)
