Help needed with reading hyperlinks word by word or character by character

Hello all,

To my delight, I just discovered this forum after having spent a good deal of time trying to figure out my way around Jaws22. I'm new to this version and upgraded from 2014 version directly. So there are a lot of changes for me to work around.

I would appreciate to learn what to change in Jaws settings to red the text of hyperlinks word by word or character by character if needed. I'm using Edge and Jaws reads hyperlinks all at once as a one line when I select the link. So in effect, using right and left arrows to read the text of hyperlinks word by word does nothing here.

Your help would be much appreciated!
