@bennattod,
In an episode called Public Relations broadcast 29th April 1961. Robert Hardy must have appeared as a character called Farnon (e.g Siegfried Farnon All creatures great and small)

Cannot get Question 29 the French Prime Minister. Any clues appreciated!

@sophocles,
29. See previous clue (and surname of former England soccer captain)

23. "Farnon" was certainly his most famous character.

@ag270254,
APPLE has 2 vowels cube them = 8
APPLE has 3 consonents to the power of 4 = 81
subtract Consonents (81) from Vowels (8) = 73 pence

@sophocles,
Can't make it work for COCONUT or GRAPEFRUIT unfortunately.

I still have eight (and a few unconfirmed) to go, and would appreciate a hint for #15 - I have found two pianists but cannot make a third out of my remaining letters -, 41 (unless the Serpentine divides two parts of what is basically the same park?) and 48, which I can't believe I haven't been able to find, it seems so straightforward.

@gardengnome,
#48 google the parts of the question using 'compiles' rather than 'compiler'
#15 - pm me with your remaining letters

@gumpy01,
Thank you for 48, gumpy01; why does a single letter make so much difference? I also thought of putting the name in inverted commas, which I hadn't done before; anyway, it came up straight away.

I think there must be more combinations for the virtuosi - that's if I'm right with pianists - but my remaining unlikely letters are ANCBLAZER.

@gardengnome,
Yes, they are unlikely. I tackled it by looking for a musician's surname containing an unusual letter - hint - it's included in your unlikely letter combination.

@gumpy01,
You're right, of course. Now I can't find any z at all except for Liszt who's too early. And at least four more piano names who could fit into the anagram. I'll start again tomorrow - haven't exhausted the trumpet, flute or clarinet yet, never mind the organ!

@Sylvan,
