Does anyone live in Montreal?

I've never been, but my wife and I are driving up Saturday morning to attend Heavy Montreal. I'd like to park somewhere and take the subway to the venue.

Merci,

@McGentrix,
Take the Metro (yellow line) to Parc Jean Drapeau.
The Metro employees are bilingual so don't worry if you don't speak French.

Where are you staying?

@George,
Not staying anywhere, driving up early in the morning, 4.5 hour drive. There is parking at the location, but I am betting it will be crowded and expensive. Would prefer a place outside the parc and uh, "free" so to speak but near the metro.

Planning to leave after the shows are over and drive back to America. Planning to possibly sleep over in Potsdam (my Alma Mater) if super tired. I am hoping the 4 years of French I took will still be of use...

@McGentrix,
Yeah, the park will be hopeless.
Montreal itself is an island and can be a real bitch to get on and off of
during special events.

The Longueuil-Universite de Sherbrooke station is off the island and they
have a municipal lot.

@McGentrix,
Have a ball!
I hope you can back up there sometime and enjoy the city itself.
