How's everyone going on with 101? Question 13 is a bit of a teaser isn't it?
@djmple,
Got a few to do yet but Q13 is quite easy if you tackle it logically.
@gumpy01,
That's my problem then gumpy no logic
@djmple,
Find a good list of 'Major' winners, and look for any name which would fit the clue in the question and also be a type of worm.
@gumpy01,
Yes I managed 13 O.K. but 32 and 37 are puzzling me somewhat.
@Opsimath,
37. The CAR GOES very slow, but do not go OVERBOARD about it , because after all it is an old WRECK .
@bennattod,
Thanks for the cryptic clue Bennattod,not sure what it means yet but will ponder on it.
@bennattod,
Thanks,got it now but always thought of one word as a waterway.
@Opsimath,
Don't know about the waterway, but q32 seems to defy any form of logic, even Mensa logic.
@bennattod,
Clueless on 32 as well as 24, 33, 43 and 45.
@bennattod,
33, 43 and 45 are all there with a bit of googling. I'll "exchange" this clue for 43 for a clue for 30.
@djmple,
q30. not an England cricketer
q32 is the one i'm struggling on
@bennattod,
thanks got it now - not one I've ever watched
@djmple,
You know how you get an idea in your mind and can't get away from it? I'm stuck with 'James' in #37; should I be looking for names, or is it more general 'words'?
@gardengnome,
It's more general words. Think of 1920's singing dou.
@djmple,
Thanks djimple. I'll give that some thought. Just a bit (not much!) before my time.
@gardengnome,
A good hint for #37 has been given - not sure where the duo bit comes in to it though
