Good tip. I always noticed shippers move bananas with their tops covered but didn't know why. Thanks for 'splaining it.

Oh man, that's great!

We like our bananas on the under ripe side. They ripen so quickly, and we end up throwing one or 2 out.

I'm going to go wrap my bananas (separately) in a moment.

I recall reading in the classic Joy of Cooking about a new homemaker reading a recipe about potatoes "cooked in their jackets." She was quite perplexed at not finding potato jackets at her local A&P.

I know the story behind that ass kickin. Vincent was trying to do his Slap Chop ad to meet a lady in a bar. He used the line that
"youre gonna love my nuts"
And apparently she was carrying a shovel. (That's how his face became sort off center)
