room with a window
reveals a bright tapestry
of blooming flowers
the trees look happy, don't they
all dressed up in their new clothes

The trees look happy,
new leaves unfurl and wave at
the breeze which rustles,
lifing their branches as we
raise our palms up to the sky.

Palms up to the sky
Is there really life out there?
I praise the heavens
The empty abyss calls me
I am seduced by the void

Palms up to the sky
dropping coconuts on me
my head really hurts
Is nature punishing me
or just saying, "Hey dude, wake up!"

No hawaiian wrestler references allowed here, cjhsa. This thread is all about the poetry.

Loneliness - so near
conditions fading away
void leaves me asking:
What causes my sad feelings
when the full moon shines so bright?

Conditions so near,
interfering with our love.
Must we be so blocked?
When we first met we were like
blooming flowers. What went wrong?

Blooming flowers die
giving birth to many seeds
rich soil opens up.
Long followed quietness seems death
until spring's sun awakens love.

Such nice work BeiYin....

Quietness seems death,
the echo of the closed tomb.
Yet I am alive.
Communication is key
to reawake our passion.

Welcome to A2K, Bei Yin!

The echo of death
reverberates over time.
Years pass without voice
then murmured words in a song
bring back the lover to me.

A scene developing into emotion

Skimming stones by the
Sound, we looked down the beads
Of ripples stitch the
Pale water. With the bounding
Lines, her death, too, came upward.

Pale water, essence
of life and a healthy brook
where the minnows play
darting quickly like arrows
between the crayfish's claws

Beside the crayfish
minnows shimmer in swirls of
cool bubbly space, while
the child watches from the rock
to see if sunlight burns.

warrior kings wives first born (that's 6, right? so I drop one and go on? assuming the answers are yes)

Warrior kings wives first
remove their husbands' shoes, then
move to their own feet.
Respecting some traditions
is more valued by others.
