Another we want to publish you offer, and I dunno what to put in...here's two, is one of 'em good or should I chase my muse?
Tranquility comes
In the calming ripples
Of the swift flowing water
Over a smooth pebble
Submerged
In the sunlight
The breeze
Swishing quietly
Through the great and lofty trees
That keep watch over my
Serenity
The grass sways gently
Placid
All is at rest
Body soul and spirit
But most importantly- mind
I lay back
Letting the sunlight and the sky and the birdsong fill all of me
My ears and my heart are at one with the water
I would rather forget society,
With all its lies and evil ways,
Its lust and hate and cruelty
Will haunt me all my days.
I would rather forget appearances,
The ugly external shell,
Vain and hideous
Hiding all the beauty of the soul.
I would rather forget my fear,
My embarrassment and shame,
The things that hold me back
Or set my cheeks aflame.
I would rather forget about sorrow,
The rivers made of tears,
Flowing through humanity
Through the never-ending years.
There are many things I wish to forget,
But my memory still retains,
The gift that can be human's joy
May also be its bane.
Advice is much needed...
