Hi. I am curious about thai people. Why are there some kids saying falang falang, when seeing me today. Did they just try to tease me? Or is it just uneducation and bad manner? I know i am called less farang then typical european but still i uncomfortable about it. i am half armenian half italian. And i suppose its ok to be called farang when they want to ask somebody else, but not just from the blue.

@Basketballer,
No idea what 'farang' is, but in the UK we call a Scot a scot, yank a yank, aussie an aussie and pretty much all others as frenchy, indian, pole, Iranian, argie, etc.
None are intentionally derogatory because we're all monkeys and sacred 'dirt/country/land' is for nationalistically-bound pricks with no idea that patriotism is the virtue of the vicious and the last refuge of a scoundrel.
