i would never go to a mac they sux i only run windows pro because is is the only operation system that both supports my hardware and software

The activtion thing to is stink if ur a modder u have to keep ringing them up to actatvite it again

Linux is very good now. I just installed Mandrake 10 on my sisters new computer. All she uses it for is browsing, e-mail, and word processing. With KDE I don't think she knows that she isn't using windows. I just explained to her how to get to the internet, ect..

Installing Mandrake is easier than a Windows install IMHO..

I thought XP home supports the same hardware and software as Pro. Macs don't suck. Some of us don't play games. We use Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Microsoft Office, Final Cut Pro, and Shake.

If I wan't to play games I will spend the money to buy a PC. It's not a huge investment.

Different machines, different purposes. Windows sucks for video work.

Plus I don't spend my time dealing with spyware on a Macintosh.

yea true bill gate should stop making money and fix his software there are so many security holes for hackers and stuff if you run win xp get there service pack 2 beta it real good stops pop ups and most spyware but the intergraded firewall sux ass

I really get annoyed when people bad mouth Microsoft. Whatever problems there are, is far outweighed by the giant technological leaps that they have made.

To people who don't like the company.........................don't buy their stuff. Microsoft won't miss the business!

There are a lot of legitimate gripes about Microsoft, but in the overwhelming majority of the cases, people who bash Microsoft do so for illegitimate reasons.

They are an 800-pound gorilla and the bigs guys are lightning rods.

Microsoft clearly need to sort the security , they have enough bloody money. without all the viruses microsoft kicks ass but it does have them so its very average
