I know you should never hate someone for doing wrong to you personally. But is it ok to hate someone who's done actual physical harm to a member of your family?

In the eyes of society it's only OK if it's misandry. Hating men is viewed as A OK in the world. Any other kind of hate is viewed as being wrong.

Some people are just shitty. I know it's hard to accept this, but sometimes even family members are just shitty. You didn't have any choice in being related to them. You have no obligation to like them.

Find positive people who treat you with respect and worth! They ARE out there! Very Happy

@DefensiveDesigner215,
Hatred is like alcohol, its toxic, but can give you a temporary high. To answer your question see the following:

1) Hating someone who has physically harmed you does nothing but continually remind you of that harm.

2) You're alive

3) Being angry is ok, but after being harmed, one must allow themselves to heal
