I recently installed AdBlock Popup Stopper on my computer. I had to manually remove it but the column is still in my ADD OR REMOVE PROGRAMS list and when I click on it to remove it, the screen flashes and it's still there. How do I get rid of this piece of crap?
Have you tried restarting your PC after you remove it?
removal problems
Yes,I've restarted and even gone into the registry and removed all I could but that blasted program list still holds it and it won't go away.
Either the program doesn't have a good uninstallation program, or there are more problems with your PC than just that program.
You may want to reformat. Sorry.
By removing things in the registry you may well have removed what the computer needed to direct it to an uninstaller.
Dunno what to tell ya. Did you backup your registry before playing with it?
