The first time I logged in here as *caramel* I had a message that said :

"Do you want Windows to remember this password, so that you don't have to type it again the next time you visit this page?".

I said yes so I wouldn't have to type it again. But now I had to change my user name to caramel. Now every time I log in here and I click on the box and the two name appears *caramel* and caramel.

Now my question is : "How do I delete the name *caramel* from that box?"

What browser are you using.

In Mozilla (and I assume for Netscape) there is a "Password Manager" option under the "Tools" menu (on the top menu bar). This option provdes the ability to "Manage Stored Passwords" which has a "Remove" Button.

I am certain that there is a similar option in Explorer.
(But I think Microsoft is evil and can't help you with Explorer since I stay as far from the wretched program as I possibly can.)

Tools > Internet Options > Content > Auto Complete

You'll have to clear one of the options there.
