@Quehoniaomath,
Let me know when winter is going to last 30 years then we can discuss winter as climate. Until the tilt of the earth changes we will always have warmer and cooler seasons. It's simple physics. Meanwhile our winters are warmer and so are our summers.

But if you don't like NASA then let's use the HADCrut numbers.

http://www.cru.uea.ac.uk/cru/data/temperature/HadCRUT4_small.png

Interesting how that shows warming as well. Now where are your numbers showing cooling over the last 30 years.

Record cold and snow hits the US and Canada

Tuesday, November 18, 2014, 14:50 GMT -

Another Arctic blast has swept across North America this week, bringing record cold and heavy snow to millions of people.
Around 200 million Americans were estimated to have woken up to sub-zero temperatures on Tuesday morning, affecting people as far south as Texas and northern Florida.

The US National Weather Service estimated that half of the country is covered in snow, which is exceptional for so early in the season.

The Great Lakes region has been particularly hard hit. Areas around the city of Buffalo, in New York state, are forecast to see as much as 3ft of snow over the coming days.

Still don't agree, mate?

@Quehoniaomath,
Now you are arguing that a few days weather in less than 10% of the globe is the same thing as 30 years of climate over the entire globe?

You do like to prove how much of an idiot you are, don't you.

I'll tell you what Q. I will be willing to put up $10,000 to bet that the global temperature for 2014 for the entire year is going to be higher than the average global temperature of the previous 30 years. You can pick which of the 3 data sets of global temperature we should use. Care to put your money where you stupidity is?

@parados,
again some Ad Hominems.

something I said? Wink

I only contradicted your posting!

You wrote this:

Now, which one do you think is true? Wink

It really shows you were completely and utterly wrong!

Can't you admit that?

@Quehoniaomath,
A single snow storm isn't a winter. A single cold snap isn't a winter. The truth is that our winters are warmer.

@parados,
Yet the left can point to a single weather event like a hurricane and say that is an effect of Global warming? Why is that?

In 2001 did the IPCC predict milder winters with less snow?

Quote:
Yes they did. I am wondering when these reports came out, or when David Viner made his statement that children won't know what snow is, did any of these scientists object? Or did they erely allow it to fester because they wanted to push the public towards political action?

Look at this!!!! Hilarious!!!!!

Quote:
Snowfalls are now just a thing of the past

Monday 20 march 2000

Britain's winter ends tomorrow with further indications of a striking environmental change: snow is starting to disappear from our lives.

Sledges, snowmen, snowballs and the excitement of waking to find that the stuff has settled outside are all a rapidly diminishing part of Britain's culture, as warmer winters - which scientists are attributing to global climate change - produce not only fewer white Christmases, but fewer white Januaries and Februaries.

The first two months of 2000 were virtually free of significant snowfall in much of lowland Britain, and December brought only moderate snowfall in the South-east. It is the continuation of a trend that has been increasingly visible in the past 15 years: in the south of England, for instance, from 1970 to 1995 snow and sleet fell for an average of 3.7 days, while from 1988 to 1995 the average was 0.7 days. London's last substantial snowfall was in February 1991.

Global warming, the heating of the atmosphere by increased amounts of industrial gases, is now accepted as a reality by the international community. Average temperatures in Britain were nearly 0.6°C higher in the Nineties than in 1960-90, and it is estimated that they will increase by 0.2C every decade over the coming century. Eight of the 10 hottest years on record occurred in the Nineties.

However, the warming is so far manifesting itself more in winters which are less cold than in much hotter summers. According to Dr David Viner, a senior research scientist at the climatic research unit (CRU) of the University of East Anglia,within a few years winter snowfall will become "a very rare and exciting event".

LOL

CRU ????????????? hmmmmm wasn't that were CLIMATEGATE started??

yes it was!!!

@Baldimo,
Actually, they don't do that. I would love to see where a scientist has ever pointed to a single event. They have said the frequency of extreme events is to be expected and there are more extreme events.That doesn't point to a single event being caused by Global warming.

There is no end to stupidity, especially among those who cherish their ignorance. What hit Buffalo is called lake effect snow. The prevailing weather comes from the northwest in winter, so the cold air crosses the lakes, which are much warmer, and so picks up lots of moisture which it dumps when it passes over land again. The lake effect snow affects the southern and eastern shores of the lakes. Buffalo is south of Lake Ontario and east of Lake Eire. It gets hammered every year. Must be a slow news week. Here in Toronto, north of Buffalo and the lake, we barely got an inch of snow.

There, indeed, is no end to stupidity!

But well, funny to see how you are trying to protect your indoctrination

There is NO Global Warming and there is absolutely NO human caused Global Warming!

Just think about it! How can it be?? By CO2???

My o My one of the trace gasses!!!

'they' only use that to destroy industrialization!

In the words of Maurice Strong ( a psychopath!!)

And this idiot uses the UN and from there the IPCC ( a POLITICAL emgine!!)

to implement his plans!!!

Let's see your source for either of those statements.

What data do you have that shows no warming? It should contain at least 30 years of data and include at least 1000 sites around the globe to be able to reach your conclusion. Let's see your data.
