After hovering over the doodle I saw it was Mary Annings 215th birthday. Happy Birthday Mary, you don't look a day over 185.
Anyway, I clicked on the image, and was surprised to see that the articles related to her were about her being a fossil collector, dealer, and palaeontologist.
"What?" I thought, "did she do this in her spare time?"
Until I then looked more closely, I thought she was a medium or something.
It looks like she's dragging the thingy from a Ouija Board from one letter to the next.
