Hi,
Can anyone tell me what the Official/National bird of Portugal is? I'm looking for a bit of info on this species as well as some sort of photo. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks very much.
Mike - Montreal
Hate to break it to you, Portugal has no national/official bird.
I think it's the quetzel. Or is that Guatemala's?
Who cares. Close enough. Run with it.
Thanks
Thanks - I guess that's why I couldn't find anything. Have a great day.
Now he's up and away
And I just wanted to tell him, it's of course the portingale :wink:
@cavfancier,
You are wrong pal! Portugal's National bird is the Barcelos rooster.
Cheers,
Basil Croeser.
