Using system restore to get rid of a Hijacker

I have the thebestse.com hijacker. Can I use System Restore (windows XP) to go back to a time before the hijacker appeared in order to rid myself of it?

yes you can but try to install spybot and adware on ur computer they can get rid of them if they dont do restore to b4 the time u got the highjacker

I recommend against using system restore for this, try the removal instructions first.
