Hi, first time posting something, but I wanna check if anyone has the answer to my problem.

A friend gave me this puzzle, and says it is possible, but I am certain it's not.

Code:-------------------

-------------------

Now, draw this shape. (all edges are solid) Starting anywhere you wish, draw a continuous line through each edge on the shape, and not cross over any edge twice. Every solution I have drawn either misses one side or crosses one twice. :S

Someone prove me right Smile

I'm afraid I need some clarification....

You mean draw that shape without lifting the pencil/pen/writing utensil from the paper, and without crossing a line you have drawn, or re-drawing any part of the shape?

You are right it is impossible without resorting to tricks.

Assuming you wrote the instructions the same way you were given them, this does sound like a trick.

Step 1: Draw this shape. This is easily accomplished.

Step 2: Draw a line through each edge.... You can accomplish this by drawing a curved line.

The only way for this to be possible without resorting to tricks like to solution I posted above, is for allowing 3D, I think.

In a flat plane there is no way to traverse each edge if you have an uneven number of chambers.

(out of the box) If you know of a way, I sure would like to know.

draw the picture on a much smaller scale, say 1/32 of an inch wide and then draw on line over the picture using a 1.3 lead, sorry for the use of standard measurements for anyone using metric
