laptop hardrives 64bit in 32 bit machine

Hi... basicly. .. I have a hard drive from a 64bit.... acer amd laptop. ... would it work if a put it in a usb hardrive enclosure.... and tried to load on..... a 32 bit machine?...(as in could I get data off it).... are hardrives backward compatible

Yes it would work. Hard drives don't care about 32 or 64 bits.
