wow, thanks
it was pleasure for huge baseball fan like me (yeah, there are some huge baseball fans in Croatia too, about 17 of us
)
Anyway, I believe
P-Harry, C-Allen, 1B-Paul, 2B-Jerry, 3B-Andy, SS-Ed, LF-Sam, CF-Bill, RF-Mike.
Ok, I think I have it:
P: Harry
C: Allen
1B: Paul
2B: Jerry
3B: Andy
SS: Ed
LF: Sam
CF: Bill
RF: Mike
well, yeah, I think you have it too
The pitcher can't be Harry.
"The pitcher, catcher, and infielders except Allen, Harry, and Andy, are shorter than Sam. "
Gotta give this riddle more thought
no Exister, read more carefully
Allen, Harry and Andy ARE in the group "pitcher, catcher and infielders"
You can understand it as: Out of six of them (pitcher, catcher and infielders), all are shorter then Sam except Allen, Harry and Andy.
Welcome Exister, it is always good to see a new name on this topic.
However, I would suggest you do not waste your time on this question. MOU has the correct answer. Still, there is plenty left to try. Enjoy.
