Which actor would cause you to wet your pants if you ran into him or well, her, in a dark alley.

Walken.

Jesus, makes me wet my pants sitting here on the computer let alone a dark alley. Crying or Very sad

Well, hmmm......Lee Marvin was always type cast as a bad guy. Anyone see, "The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance?" I'd say Christopher Lee was pretty scary if I hadn't read his autobiography.

Walken.
Lee Van Cleef.

Walken does 'disturbed' well.

I can't think of anyone with scary eyebrows...

I adore Willem DaFoe. But - or because - he is scary.

Anthony Hopkins in "Silence of the Lambs", caused the hairs on the back of my neck to stand straight up. But he is really not like that. Shows to go ya what a great actor he is.

There was something about Robert Mitchum that exuded malevolence, in whatever part that he played.

I take it that Tobruk means someone you would find scary in themselves, the person, not a character they've played. In that regard I agree with the choice of Christopher Walken - maybe followed by John Malkovich.

Although Willem Dafoe often plays 'not very nice' people, he's really rather good looking, very friendly and - it seemed to me - quite shy!

I had the pleasure of meeting him here in Melbourne a couple of years ago when he was appearing in a play. I got his signature twice - in my autograph book and on the cover of my 'Lulu On The Bridge' video.

Shekeda,

I'm envious that you met Willem Dafoe! I agree that he is good-looking. I've seen interviews with him and he seems like a nice guy. I don't know what it is about him that is scary, maybe the apparent intensity, not sure.

I've never been scared of anybody but if Michael Madsen is anything like the characters he portrays I dont mind admitting if I met him in a dark alley I'd run like a rabbit.

Christopher Walken is not scary in Fatboy Slim's Weapon of Choice video.

This is an animated version of that video:

Another vote for Walken.

Saw somewhere that his daughter is Angelina Jolie. Poor thing. Could you imagine calling HIM in to get the boogie man out from under the bed???
