i saved some files by using another computer, but it seems that this computer that i am using now can't even read any of the files on the CDs?
so is there anyway to solve that problem?
thanks.
Has the CD been closed? There's some files that won't be able to be read on a normal CD player, and will only be read by a writer, until the CD is closed off.
You need to be much more specific. What kind of files?
they are just some picture files.
the strange thing is that i also saved them on another CD, the computer can read some pics from that CD. this CD has no scratches, etc. but the computer cant' read it at all.
i think that you are probably right, it is not a closed CD. but how can use a regular CD recorder to read my unclosed CD? is there a program for that?
The software for CD writers normally detects the state of the CD and asks what you want to do when you try to eject it.
