It seems logical to upgrade now to Windows 8 instead of Windows 7 and save this hassle when Win 7 goes the way of XP.
Do you need to download Live Mail for Win 8 same as for Win7?

I thought of having Win 8 instead of Win 7, but plumped for 7 on the advice of experts in the computer forums.
Basically Win 7 is proven, tried and tested, but the newer Win 8.0 and Win 8.1 have still got some little glitches, nothing serious but enough to put me off.
