Sorry that I missed this. There was also Danny Glover being rescued by Mel Gibson from a toilet rigged with explosives in Lethal Weapon 2.

And Moaning Myrtle haunting toilets in the Harry Potter movies!

Thanks Wandel. I do believe that the Lethal Weapon 2 scene came up awhile back but since I couldn't find an appropriate image, I didn't include it.

I'll try and add the Moaning Myrtle ghost from Harry Potter. I'm pretty embarrassed that slipped my purview. Embarrassed

You could probably write a scholarly essay about the role of bathrooms in the history of horror movies. For decades, Japanese schoolchildren have tried to scare each other with an urban legend about a specific stall in a specific school washroom that is haunted by a girl who committed suicide. Several Japanese horror movies have been based on this urban legend.
