@tsarstepan,
I see I'm waaaay too late to pick teams - so I'll just hope that UCLA Bruins, UNM Lobos, and Wichita State Shockers, in that order, do ok.

Yeah. You are right. The tourney is great for being truly unpredictable. Very Happy

Late to participation in this thread. Never too late to root for my home team.
Plural, teams.
A good day in Michigan sports.
It would be something if the Michigan State Spartans won the tournament. That would go nicely with the schools Rose Bowl win this year. However. My blood tends to run blue from the Wolverine fan in me.
Go Blue.
Go Green, Go White.

@alex240101,
Move on up, Bruins! Looking good so far. My other two teams lost to Stanford. I don't just hate Stanford, but awwww.

I had to look up what SFA meant, but that's my ignorance, not against them.

Hmm, Dayton. It wouldn't have occurred to me to pick them (there's a school there?), but I lived there twice in my life as a child so I don't mind they won that game.

My UConn Huskies are playing rather well. They're back in the Final Four!

@tsarstepan,
On the final 4, I'm assuming Florida will win and I don't mind if they do, but I'll root for Wisconsin. I've been there for more hours than I've been in Connecticut.

@ossobuco,
Don't count Huskies out....by any means. I think the spread is at 6-6.5 pts, by the odds makers. Never seen an odds maker take a shot on a court, though. CT Coach K is one of the best there is, plus this guard Shabazz Napier is playing out-of-his-mind. I think that the first 5 minutes will determine how things go. If Huskies gets the Gator forwards in early foul trouble, then it's doom and gloom for Gators.

@Ragman,
My cousin's son is named Gator (by himself) and we rarely speak of him more formally as he pushes on in age. I admit not remembering quite why he picked it, except as an antidote to his proper name. It still fits.

@Ragman,
Awesome year for UConn. Both the men's and the women's teams are once again in the championship!

@Ragman,
Oh gawd! No one called me on my stupid mistake. Coach K is Duke's coach, of course. Ollie is Huskies coach. And what a coach he is!.

How did I miss this thread?
Anyway. I'm a big Gator rooter but they didn't seem up to the task.
They did beat Kentucky twice but coach Calipari is an ace at preparing his teams for March Madness.
U con beat the Gators earlier in the year so they deserve a spot in the finals.
No dog in this fight but I'd love to see both Uconn teams win.
